Sessions include focus mitts and Thai pads. Thai pad training is a cornerstone of Muay Thai conditioning that involves practicing punches, kicks, knees, and elbow strikes with a trainer using Thai pads to cover forearms and hands. Thai pads help absorb the impact of the fighter's strikes and allows fighter to react to the attacks of the pad holder in a live situation. Trainer will occasionally wear padding around the abdominal area so that the fighter can learn straight kick and knee attack techniques to the body . Conditioning training portion consists of high intensity bursts of energy with precise movements. 90 minute sessions
